My hair is medium brown with blonde highlights... don't have the time, patience or money to keep up with my roots. Can I have it dyed to my natural color or is it best to just let it grow out?
Depends what you want for your hair. If you're interested in growing it long, the less chemicals the better, so just growing it out would be best. If you don't particularly care for length and have it trimmed regularly, you can go to a salon and let them dye it back to your natural color so it looks better growing out.

Growing it out will take a LOT of patience, and you will probably not like the two tone look of your hair. Yet, if you dye it back to your natural color you will probably be shocked at how dark it really is. You may want to ease back slowly. This can be accomplished by having your colorist put some darker color in your hair along with the highlights. This is referred to as lowlighting. Talk with your colorist about this; explain that you would like to start getting back to your natural color. He or she will know how to accomplish this.
