PLEASE HELP
I have a few questions.... Is anyone in here professional stylist? I have a big problem.
A client of mine has black hair. We have been coloring it a level on for some time now....She wanted to go to level 5 Red/Brown. I used a Color Eliminate on her hair and brought it to a brassy red....then tried to deposit a 5RB on her dry hair. It turned black within five minutes....I told her I would try to find another Color eraser by tomorrow....does anyone have any ideas....Completely Clueless....Tera

Hi, there are a few experienced stylists on this board (sophie, susan w. etc.) tho i am not one lol. That seems like a pretty big dilemma but if u want a quick answer from a pro colorist only board u should check behindthechair.com's message board. Altho i must warn u, there is a lot of cattiness there! Well i hope u get the answer ur looking for soon! Umm anyways, i guess the reason why ur client's hair went so dark is due to the hair's porosity from being colored so many times even tho u managed to lift it at first, and becuz of the color build up from the level 1 hair color. I'm sorry that i don't have helpful advice tho. Well all the best!

I'm not a professional, I got all my experience from my own head, my own mistakes, and in my own bathroom. Since you are a professional, you already know more than me. I would ask the question at behindthechair.com.
