Has anyone tried Loreal's Effasol hair color remover, does it really work? It says it works with water or developer, which is better?

A few months ago I tried a L'Oreal color remover that I got at Walmart, though I don't remember the name of the product. I would never use it again. I was just trying to remove a little bit of red, and it lifted my color to blond in 15 minutes. I would wait til I got Colorfix if I had to do it again.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
