I posted the balck hair help post and after reading through other posts, have decided that the best thing to do to correct this mess is to use the colorfix and dye my hair back. I just have some questions. There are two brands of color remover, which one is most recommended? And should I choose a dye closer to my natural color or one a couple of shades lighter? Finally, should I use a permanent hair color or a demi/semi permanent hair color?

Thanks

It's always safer to go for a demi or semi.

If you've got porous hair you must formulate 1-2 levels lighter than the target level your going for. Or otherwise it'll turn out too dark.

My advice is to always choose a lighter haircolor over a too dark one if you're unsure.
