I've heard this term pop up so much but I still no idea wht it looks like. Is it just another word for a highlighting cap? Lol sorry i know this is a stupid question but I don't think I've seen this!!

no

soap cap is just replacing developer with soap instead which makes it a lot more gentle.

Many ppl mix bleach with shampoo, it's gentler but it won't lift hair as much as if you'd put developer in the mixture.
