i found this tip online....i haven't tried it but thought it might be useful to some of you.

"If you have recently dyed your hair a shade that came out way too dark and you want an easy solution, here it is. Simply mix 3 parts lemon juice to one part conditioner (acids in lemon juice naturally lighten hair) and saturate hair with the mix.

Light towel dry and blow dry til almost completely dry, finish off with just rinsing hair with lemon juice and style as usual. I promise your hair will be lighter (you'll even see the dye trickling out!) and soft and bouncy. "

If anyone tries this tell me how it works out!

It would probably be extremely drying, using pure lemon juice to rinse. I have purposely faded haircolor many times just using a cheap dandruff shampoo (store brand). You can see the color rinsing out and can tell a difference after 2 or 3 washes - you can do the washes all in succession if you like.
