Hi guys, I'm new here and have learned a lot about hair extensions which I want to have done----Lots of reviews, but wanted to start a poll to see if we can rate the different types. Thanks for your help and participation!

1. From your personal experience, which method is best? (hairlocs, fusion, great lengths, prohair, etc.)

2. What were the problems, if any?

3. How long did they last before needing to be adjusted or re-done?

4. damage control: any? fair? moderate? horrible?

5. Going to keep them?

***Let's see if we can figure this out together and solve this debate!!!!

Hello,
I have been in search for some really good hair extensions that are afforable and will give my hair natural looking length, with lots of abilty to style and variety. In my quest for the best extensions i have tried the bonding method once, which was a disater, it will always take out your hair and you will be worse off than you started because they use glue and it is hard to get out no matter what anyone says.

The second method i have tried is the sewn in, it is ok, syling is limited to how you have it sewn in, dont leave in two long, hair will get matted, kinky unless you are able to take it down wash and condition on a reg basis.

my current method i have tried is the micro braids, the hair looks and feels like your own. you can curl and wash ( but braids will losen up when you do). You should not leave these up to long, hair will get matted and very kinky. I always tried to spray liquid conditions between braids, oil sheen and liquid oil to reduce dryness and breakage. Hair will still break anyway. Oh and they are a task to take down.

so you see i had a few experiences on the quest to have longer hair. I am still doing research though, i did hear about the cold press technique that is supposed to press hair to your own hair with an artificial keratin, but dont have too much info on it. if any one finds any other techniques please feel free to email me at sweettoffee27@yahoo.com
