I'm trying to find out more information about "clamping" or a process of adding length and volume of hair to hair NOT using glue.

If any one could give me more information about this way of adding hair extensions without using glue I would REALLY appreciate it.

THANKS
Jason

Hello, just so you know Redsalonsource.com has the Balmain Hair extensions that use a carotein wax bond with the Human hair. It will last about 4 months and does not damage the hair.
Check it out.

Hi, Prostyles do a method where they use a heat clamp (no wax or glue) that can be used with synthetic hair it heats the synthetic hair together forming a crisp bond. To remove you just break the bond. see more info on www.prostyles.co.uk under "application"

alternatively see www.haircandy.net "tutorials" and read about extendtubes / mircorings that is also a process without using glue.

Jason,

There are lots of non-glue, non-fusion methods; which is best just depends on your hair, your budget, and your priorities. If you go to the Extensions 101 Thread at the top of the page, you'll see links, including demos and tutorials, for these methods.

Good luck! :)
