as i was just recentley reading about paris hilton i saw that her great grand father was married to zsa zsa gabor- eva gabors sister.... great lenths is owned by eva gabor hence a great aunt to paris hilton- seeing that she sports great lenths and does not even care when the bond was showing- i wonder if she gets all the great lenghts hair for free... i know the salon that does her hair in LA as my girlfriend goes there for her great lengths- and pays around 3000.00 it is a really good job. i guess a lot of playmates go there too... i get my great lenths else were for about 1300.00 but if i had the cash i wouls go to paris's place- she has to know the best right?

Paris *may* use the Great Lengths method, but nothing you say can convince me that her actual hair is GL. Hers is way too soft, shiny, and baby-fine to even come close to comparing to this mass of horse-like hair I have on my head.
Oh, yes--the GL hair is awful. I hated it so much I decided to remove my extensions early and have another method. At this time I am wearing So.Cap and there is a world of difference. The hair is shiny and healthy (GL had no shine at all). It is still on the coarser side as comparing to my own hair, but is much much better than GL. Nobody can tell I have extensions, not even my mother! The next method I will try will be buying my own hair.
go to veredsalon.com for your proof- nothing is higher quality that gl this is where she and many other celebs get there hair done- there are pics of them to prove it too on this website!

GLs may be what Nicole Richie uses, but it is VERY DAMAGING to hair that's thin, weak, damaged, color-treated, fine, or if you're trying to grow your hair out. The remover is a gel, but it's acetone-based, and the "keratin" bond is basically glue; it does melt into the hair, as does CInderella--believe me, I have the damage to prove it.
It's great if GLs works for you, but it's just irresponsible to recommend it to anyone whose hair is thin, weak, damaged, color-treated, fine, or is trying to grow their hair out. You'll notice that anytime Paris takes her hair out, it supershort; obviously her hair isn't growing with GLs. Nicole and Paris can afford to spend $2000 a month on their hair for the rest of their lives and be bald; most people can't.

Oh, and one more thing...at this point I think Paris is just wearing wigs--at least it's looked that way at her most recent red-carpet appearnces with that overblown Farrah Fawcett 'do.
I don't think the GLs hair is bad, but I don't think it's a lot different than Cinderella or any other silky straight Remy hair. The best quality hair I've ever used, by the way, is the Silky Straight Cuticle Hair (not to be confused with Regular Silky Straight or Italian Mink, which are not as good) from hisandher.com--much better than GLs, Cinderella, Hairlocs, etc.
i just order a bottle og gl remover from my gl dealer - i will list the ingrediants there is no acetone in it!!!!! also if you read on her web site she did paris and nics hair- for the simple life.....

That's great, but again, GLs aren't for everybody. People should know the risks and options before they choose this method. There's a post called Extensions Experineces that gives a very thorough roundup of the positive and negative points of each type of application.
