How do these compare with GL? They seem to be similar except hairdreams can be re-tipped. Any idea of cost of hairdreams? I got a quote for $2500 for GL. A salon is re-doing their website and is doing a photo shoot where they would just charge me for the hair and would do the cut, installation and any hair coloring for free. I won't know until next week when I get a consultation on how much the hair costs. Does anyone have any idea. I have looked into hairlocs too. There are so many pros and cons and each person has something bad to say about the other. I have 4" long hair I want to get extensions while it is growing out but I can't figure out the best way to do this. Going to hawaii in 6 weeks, can I go in the ocean and swimming easily with these in??
you are so right- everyone has different comments and results with different methods. I can tell you for myself- i have been wearing Hairlocs for over two years now. I love them. My own hair has grown around 5 inches and is in great shape. I have had no damage even when we took them out for a while. My stylist is in so cal but she DOES travel if need be. I swim a few days a week and not had a problem. Just need to condition ends real good.
