This board is to gain info and give info- just because someone really loves there tenique or stylist doesnt mean others have the right or reason to bash them. Maybe you think you help others more then someone else that doesnt give you the right to be mean and cruel. There are so many different methods out there and we are all learning and helping together. this board is a great board and others have given help and received it - lets not slur it up and cause problems. If you dont like someones posting then at least communicate in a nice manner instead of slamming them. Its distasteful and un lady like to say the least. Cant we all just get along!!!!
Smile, it makes your heart happy......

I agree!!! if anyone had a problem with a certain extension its okay to share it with us or give advise, but if you see a post saying "help" the worst thing to do is tell the person in more or less words.. YOUR SCREWED!! this board is to HELP not HURT!!
You've missed the point. "Cait" became defensive when she was accused of using this board as her own advertisement area.
There's nothing wrong with mentioning your business and steering some clientele your way now and then but she was getting ridiculous and I wasn't the first person to notice or say so.
You could bet everytime she posted she'd be talking about Hairlocs and giving you her web site. Look back. She offers no help or insight to anyone.
Hair extensionists who pose as their own happy customers is downright deceitful and shouldn't be tolerated by anyone.
Shame on her. And shame on anyone that condones it.
Amm is right. As someone's who's seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of extensions many times, I believe it's important that people post their concerns and critiques--even if it's not exactly the "instant fix" everyone wants to hear about. I, for one, wish I'd seen more honest criticisms of some methods before I wasted thousands of dollars on them. The bigger problem on these boards is the constant peddling by stylists and extensions companies, who pretend to really care about the people who are posting here. This is why everyone should be wary of posters who claim to have a "perfect solution"; if they do, they just want your money. If they talk about the bad points as well as the good, they're probably a lot more credible and trustworthy.

Hi ladies, Don't get me wrong I agree with you, people should be able to post their experiences here, good and bad, all I am saying is that sometime certain people could be alittle less harsh with their posts, I have read some that really would scare me, there is nothing wrong with giving advise. Also, like we all say time and time again, everyone is different so to tell somone who just had a certain method done... " its going to damage your hair its the WORST! " is really not nice being there is nothing they could really do about it
