Hi. Sorry if this has already been on the site but I saw this guy do hair extensions on the view. They seem better than the micro tubes and euro locs. It doesn't look like a tube but to me it looks round, very small and more comfortable.
No. I've never heard of them before. They look rounder than the typical locs or rings. That said, they can only be used with wefts (according to the site), which may explain why the shape is different. Other locs and rings are mainly designed to do strand-by-strand methods (although you can use them with wefts, too). I don't use wefts myself; maybe someone else can chime in here....
I did notice that they don't mention what the links are made of. Be careful to make sure it's not copper (which oxidizes to green), and if it's nickle, just make sure you're not allergic. They're probably aluminum or something; that seems to be what most of these shells are being made of now.
On the view, he did the whole head in these micro links. The segment was for women with thinning hair. He put only a few strands of hair into the link and sealed it up.
