Does anyone know where to find a listing of all the different types of extension hair and their descriptions? I'm asking because I'm going to be doing my first whole head with fusion and I want to get a good quality hair that will match my own texture AND last, but at the same time, because this is my first attempt, I don't want to use the expensive hair just yet (but I will in the future). So I'm just wondering if there's anywhere on the web that talks about all the different kinds of hair, from the cheap stuff at beauty supply stores all the way up the chain to the best and most expensive. So when I go hair shopping, I will know what all the different terms mean (like yaki and silky) and know what to go for and stay away from.

It's a rather involved subject, but if you can describe exactly what you're looking for, we can probably point you in the right direction.

In the meantime, here's the Extensions 101 thread, which you might find helpful.

Again, just explain what you're looking for--method of installation, your real hair, texture, color, length, price, quality, and what you want to achieve--and we should be able to help.

:)
