i don't remember what brand extensions I bought from an ethnic store before but it cost 70 bucks for 22 inch and it was nice when I first got it, but then it started to get stringy after an hour and looked like it needed a brushing. this would happen every hour and i would have to brush it. so i resorted to curling it as when it is in curls it disguises the stringiness that is so prominant when it is straight. I just bought sassy brand hair from sally's which was like 10 bucks, just to see the difference in texture from the expensive brand I got at the wig shop. The texture is the same and does the same thing!

I have been anticipating purchasing long extensions online hoping that I will find the brand that does not get stringy and looks like caucasian smooth, non tangeling hair. These brands like hisandhers and glamourhair are obviously much more expensive than the hair from the wigshop, but then again the hair from the wigshop was more expensive than the sassy hair and it ended up being just as bad. I don't want to spend more money to get the same crap I had in the past.

Is there anyone on here that knows what I am talking about? Do you know of a brand that you tried and are just so happy with it? Have you used wigstore hair and feel a difference between the two?

My first payday is this coming week. As you can see from my posts, I have been researching for a while asking questions. People like Jenny have been very helpful. I was thinking of getting HisandHer french refined cuticle hair but the longest it comes is 22 and it doesnt come in dark brown. Then I thought of the waterwave cuticle which comes in 32, but that doesn't come in my haircolor either. Then I thought of glamourhair french refined but it comes up to 24, but the waves actually look stringy to me. What do you think? Also, it only comes hand-tied and I want machine weft so I can sew on clips.

I want wavey hair that can be straightened to be nice and smooth. But I want it to be NOT stringy whether it is wavey or straight.

The color I need is dark brown and I would like it at least to be 24 inches long, although 30 inches was what I was originally looking for.

Please help!!
