Kristin, the hair is from the Ragdoll Weave Co. (www.ragdolly.net), and you can find the curls at http://ragdolly.net/procurls.html They're $7 a pack and come in many, many colors. Some folks at Quinn's board have complained about Ragdoll's service, but I've ordered from them twice with no problems (she special-ordered the #2 color for me).

I was bored, so I started playing with falls today. The beauty of plastic hair is that you can get all sorts of things that are difficult to replicate with real hair. These are my ragdoll curl falls. They're made with two packs of #2 and one of red silky spring curls. I also have them in light purple and teal, so I can change the accent colors with a little assembly required.
These are by far my most fragile falls, because the curls cannot be washed or combed. Sometimes I have to twist the curls around a finger to get the all going in the right direction again. (I used to wear these for band gigs, and all that jumping around messes them up.)
These are just on regular old elastics, with my real hair braided and wrapped around the base of the pigtails. I added a little bit of red/black mix toyo into the braids for color consistency.
And, because I thought it would be fun, in my Vietnamese ao dai:
As usual, the camera flash makes 'em shinier than in real life. These kind of curls in natural colors alone would make a beautiful formal hairdo (very Gone With the Wind). Of course, I don't have anywhere formal to go, so I go for more of a goth dolly look. =)
