QuoteReplyTopic: hairpiece vs. his and her : service? Posted: February 20 2005 at 8:40pm
human hair is generally a bit of a gamble, and there have been tons of posts concerning the overall quality of various kinds of hair from both hairpiece and his and her....don't worry, i'm not asking that again...i'm just wondering if anyone has done business with either (or both) companies and would recommend one over the other based strictly on value/customer service/dependability? if there's already an answer on here somewhere, i apologize....i just didn't have any luck finding it... thanks!

Ive ordered from hisandher many times without ever a problem, Ive placed orders through the site and recieved my orders promptly. I never needed any customer service help so I dont know how good the customer service is. Ive never ordered from hairpiece.com although I did have some questions about some of their products and emails were slow to return if at all, and not too helpful. Ive never ordered their products so I cant really comment on quality but everyone seems to like their extendtubes.

Patsy, I have done lots and lots of business with both of them but in person cuz I live close. Hands down, HisnHers has better service in person, mind you...very helpful salespeople who actually seem knowledgeable. I have nothing good to say about hairpiece when you visit the store in person. In fact, I have had the salesperson on more than one occasion badmouth HisnHers, saying people come in their (hairpiece's) store screaming about the terrible hair they were sold...but 'mistakenly' thinking the two stores had the same owners...it was bs. But that's another story. Having said that, I find myself having to buy from them anyway just cuz they have things at better prices than HnH, namely extendtubes and fusion sticks. And believe it or not even in a huge hair town like LA, they are still the only place in town for competitive prices. Their hair really blows, tho. For hair, I'd still do HnH if I had to pick. Are you thinking of buying hair from those two? Why bother? There are so many better sources online, at least for hair. Just my piece here folks.

Im in California, but I get HIs and Her shipments next day with the regular shipping, if I order before 2 p.m. Also, the shipping is free. They will accept returns for store credit only- so purchase carefully.
I have spoken to them on the phone several times and they are generally helpful, imho.
I have only purchased cuticle or 100% mink and I haven't been disappointed yet.
I've never used hairpiece.com so no input there.
I've also had good luck with superhairfactory.com and Bohyme hair- only used them once so far though....
I've ordered hair from hisandher.com over the phone, and they we're quite helpful in answering my questions. I've only ordered from hairpiece.com online, but there were no problems with my order or anything. :)
I just placed a call-in order w/hairpiece.com, and the guy we spoke to was great over the phone - he answered all of my husband and my questions, was very polite, and even made sure our order was shipped out before he left work (we called 10 mins to closing).
My hairpiece arrived yesterday, but we weren't around to accept it, so I'll hafta wait until Monday to give any input on how the actual product turned out.
I've ordered several times from both places and had good experiences with both. I never needed to contact them about anything service-wise, so I can't say anything about their responsiveness. But they've always gotten my orders right and on time. :)
