We've thrown around a lot of names of different shine sprays and serums here. I personally love BioSilk Silk Therapy for my own hair, but it is kind of expensive. Well, since I'm almost out, I decided to try the Sally's generic version, which is less than half of the price of the real thing.

It is AWFUL!!! Right away, I could feel it was thinner and less emollient than real BioSilk. I usually rub the leftover BioSilk that didn't make it into my hair on my hands, and it's like a nice lotion. But not this stuff. I put it on my hair and it actually felt sticky for a couple hours. Eww! It was like I'd put a ton of mousse in my hair instead of...well, whatever BioSilk is. I'm going to try to take it back (unfortunately, I think I threw the receipt away, but I'll try). I'll just have to fork out the $20 or so for genuine BioSilk.

Though, not to bash the entire Generic line. I've used their version of K-Pak and Matrix Amplify shampoo, and they're fine (although, I've never used the real thing).

Man, I LOVE Biolsilk. I've found nothing at Sally's that compares. I have so many bottles in my cabinet that do nothing but leave a greasy layer on the hair, no matter how careful I am with it.

TIGI Bed Head After Party is unbelievably awesome. It's a smooth cream that smells fabulous and it makes hair shiny and moisturized.

I also make my own with virgin olive oil, vitamin E and a drop of lavender essential oil. Smells great, inexpensive and it works great for skin and hair.

You guys are using it for human hair, right? I've been looking for a good human hair leave-in conditioner. The TIGI stuff is less expensive than Biosilk, right? Is it as good, or is Biosilk worth the extra money?

Zapevaj~Bioslilk is worth the extra bucks!!

These are leave-ins that I like for human hair. I haven't tried a generic brand that has worked the same. You would have to do a little testing with the generic products to find a compatible.
Infusium 23 is always a good,cheap product for leave-ins.
