Does anyone know what Champagner looks like? On screen, it resembles a light peach or something. Thanks! :)

I wish we had those color rings.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

Word.

I just ordered a few myself. I'm sure it'll take me awhile to get them, but hopefully I can fan them out and get some decent pictures to post.

I believe Sara dropped the price of the rings--not just for the bulk order, but in general--quite a bit.

:)

Actually, I don't do paypal, and I have taken the fact that Sara doesn't do credit cards as a sign from the beyond that I shouldn't be buying stuff over the internet right now.

I hear you. Hair buying can get out of control.

FYI: I've sent cash to Sara in the past with no problems, but U.S. money orders don't work in Switzerland apparently (well, they do, but the banks will charge a huge fee for her to cash them). I don't know if you can get Swiss money orders in the U.S.

:)

Jenny I have the PH champagne blonde and it is definitely a peachy/orangy looking blonde. Ill see if I can get a decent picture of it if you want to see it.

Thanks, Sher. I actually think the champagner and the champagner blonde are two different colors, though. The blonde you have is in the natural color ring, whereas the champagner is in the funky colors--it sort of looks like a light peach or something. It's a strange, color actually, but it might look cool blended with other stuff. :)

Oh yeah I see there is a champager in the fancy colors and a champagner blond in the natural colors.

oh no! I don't have an account with paypal either, and I refuse to sign up with them, but I usually am able to pay with my CC through paypal anyway to merchants who only accept paypal. Can I not do this on sara's site???

I used to have an account with them, but when I read about the class action lawsuit against them and then looked further into their agreement, I just didn't like what I saw. You give up all your consumer protection rights, and they can seize any money in your paypal account and any checking accounts associated with it at any time, for any reason they deem fit. And there is no appeal process, no one you can go to and get that money back.. they can hold it for up to 6 months for 'suspicious activity' and then you don't get it back unless you make a request. They are the ones who determine what may be suspicious or not, i.e. a different pattern of activity on your account, someone else they are suspicious of sends you money, or you send payment to someone they are suspicious of... what it boils down to is, they are/were abusing their policies in order to hold people's money and draw interest off of it. I rarely ever used my account other than to pay merchants who accept paypal only, which in most cases I can do anyway w/o being a member. I'm just really uncomfortable with their policies now that I know what can happen, so I cancelled my account.

If sara accepts check or money order by snail mail, I guess I'll just go that route.. the wait time is going to be maddening though, lol!

Hey Alyssa,

Like I said, it's possible that you can get a Swiss money order at the post office--they offer them for some countries and not for others. For Canada and Australia, for example, you can get international M.O.s, but not for the U.K., which is strange. I've never wired money before; is it a fortune?

:)

Jenny, did you still need to know about the color? And was it the funky or natural champagne?

I paid with a credit card, on plastikhaar. confused why you say that she won't take them?

Also, I am another who has been screwed by pay pal. Won't use em again.

I went to the website, filled out an order, and saw only the options Paypal and 'send invoice'. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place, but as I said, I took it as a sign I needed to spend less money on the internet right now.

If I get my finances together anytime soon, I could do 'send invoice' anyway.

Yeah, I do recall first saying "oh crap" when I noticed it looked like pay pal was the only option. Don't recall what I did, but know for I used my card, and not pay pal. Oh well, good thing anyway, if you shouldn't be spending!!

If you choose the 'send invoice' option to pay for plastikhaar, what is that all about?

After reading that link about Paypal, I'll now think twice about using them again.
