They supply Mark Barrington (Shrink Links) with the hair for the Shrink Link system. I have ordered extensively from this company(via Mark Barrington) , and have always been pleased with their hair quality. I have ordered a lot of European hair (real European hair, not Indian) for my clients, and it is great, albeit expensive stuff. In fact today, I just received 6 ounces of 23" European hair for a client and it looks nice! (she paid $1000 for it!- and that's not marking it up at all!)
They recently introduced their line of Indian hair, they call it 'Software' Hair and I have ordered about a dozen batches of it for my clients and it is also very good.
I don't know if you need to be licensed to order from them, as I get my hair from them via Mark Barrington. It's worth checking out, though.
Metalgirl~This is where I am going to buy my European human hair from. I met Cheyne last week at the MB class and she told me to come by and she will show me around. I love that I can go there in person and pick my own hair!! Thank you for referral with the MB class and the referral for EP. I just love the system!! Chrissy V replied to an e-mail this week and also said If I want to get great hair to look into EP. I am going to take a day out and go and see their hair.
Thanks, Metalgirl. People have mentioned this company a million times, but we could never find the website before (perhaps it's new, or maybe we just missed it).
It seems that the listed prices are retail, and that you'd get a better price if you're licensed. At least it says this at the bottom of the page: "All prices are retail and licensed hairdressers will receive industry prices."
SAS, yes yes please tell us what you think of it after you go there. Reseda used to be my old stomping grounds growing up as a kid. I used to live right across from Reseda Park. Also nice to see this company has a "Made in the USA" philosphy.
You betcha Amm!! This is the hair that lasts 1 1/2 - 2 years. I also have to go and see Kimbearly's connection that she hooked us up with from Glendale, which also sells European hair..

I've had the same experience up here in the central coast (CA) with hair prices skyrocketing over the last 6 months. I'm getting some nice hair from Not Just Wigs in New Jersey that seems fairly reasonable for European Remy-pre tipped. They also have specials on ebay. I'm having good results with the shrinkies...better than I had with the micro-links. Also, the links have to be removed if someone has to have an MRI or head xray. They will cut them out at the hospital if necessary.....keep that in mind. Could someone send me the info for the place in Reseda or Glendale....for the good hair? What is everyones feelings about CA Licensing of Hair Extensionists??
Every thought one has...both positive and negative, has an associated energy that produces an effect on the physical body.

beachhead: CA made an extensionist license? Wha? Can you start another thread (because we're going to get off-topic) and tell us what you know about it?

Yup, that's true. When I have an MRI, the technician always checks me for barrettes...he said the magnet in the MRI machine would pull it right off my head (along with hair) plus damage the machine. That's why I started with shrinkies when it came time to put my hair back in. With radiation treatments (which I'm having), I could put in extentubes (metal) but they would have to stay absolutely the same for 6 weeks - no adding or taking out, which I knew would be impossible. Oh the trials and tribulations! So worth it, tho. And to stay on topic, COOL about Ext Plus! THanks so much for the link.

Does anyone know the price cut for having a license? I emailed them Saturday and haven't heard back. Thanks
Gina~ I have no idea on the licensed cosmetologist prices yet, but I plan to get a pricelist when I go there. They say you have to fax them your license to get the current prices on their hair.
