No, Adina haven't heard that one!!
I heard she has paid $10,000 for her hair extensions. Can you imagine paying that. I thought $2500 was OMG!!
Ken Paves is her guy, I'm sure he has something to do with it if it is true.
Will be interesting to see her line if she does have one coming out.

This was about her latest extension for the movie,

Oh, please. Sounds like typical fusion to me. Gawd knows how much they'll charge for this nonsense.

$10,000....for wefts and glue?!! She's got way more money than brains, but I think that's a given. Unless the hair comes from Queen Guinevere herself...10,000 bucks? And her hair is by no means the hottest of the hot even on her best day!
Okay, not to sound name-droppy or anything (tho I'm sure it does), a couple of years ago my bf took me to the NHRA awards (he works for them) and Pam Anderson sat behind me - in the seat directly behind me- and her hair looked absolutely gorgeous. The most gorgeous mane of golden blonde waves, shiny, long, wavy, soooooo pretty and look totally natural only waaaaay better. I told bf that hers was the best blonde job I have ever ever seen but of course he had to say her makeup was put on with a trowel (it was not. she looked glamorous). It was ten thousand shades of blonde blended together and it was stunning. Later I saw something about her stylist and he has suitcases full of blonde hair for her, all of it just like that - shiny bouncy golden. Beats anything Jessica Simpson has glued on her head ever.
In fact...Pam's hair kinda looked like Fina's!!
Just my input.

The actual report was someone had flown to her while she was on location somewhere with her hair extensions, that it had cost her $10,000. So I'm thinking that included the urgent delivery....gosh, I hope it did!! Ha Ha......what people will do for hair.

Perhaps this is a slight tangent, but I've read that Karen (she who writes many of the hairboutique.com articles) actually knows Ken Paves (Jessica's stylist). In one of the articles, he says how he did her hair for her wedding.

Anyway, it might be possible to direct this question to the Ask Karen column.

Well... Since Madonnas stylist gets $10,000 a day, just for doing her hair on a shoot. I am not surprised that Jessica Simpsons stylists gets the same for doing extensions. They aren't doing anything different than the rest of us. They just have really good publicists.

Who is Pam Anderson's stylist and does anyone know what method/type hair she's using?

Hmm...I read an interview with Pam's stylist in one of those hairstyling magazines, but I can't remember his name now. I can tell you that he was not exactly "open" about the fact that Pam has extensions (the way he positioned it, you'd think it was all her real hair--LOL); Jessica Simpson/Ken Paves are actually much more upfont about the extensions than most celebrities/celeb stylists are. Which makes sense, if they're launching this new hair-extensions line.

I agree that Pam's hair is beautiful, but I did see a picture of her not long ago (presumably without extensions) and her hair looked gawd-awful (I think this was in US Weekly, or some other celebrity rag). Basically, it looked like your typical fusion/bleach damage--all over the place and broken in spots (also saw similar pics of Lisa Kudrow and Britney Spears; Courtney Love often looks this way).

Seriously, I really don't think these celebrity stylists know anything more about extensions than anyone else (in fact, I think they know less, as they're usually are limited to fusion and clip-ins). Chris McMillan (who does Jen Aniston, Courteney Cox, and lots of others) uses fusion, too, and sometimes clips. I imagine they do get top-notch human hair, though, since money is no object.

P.S.--I recently saw a girl who'd gone to an A-List NYC salon (where lots of celebrities go). She'd gotten Great Lengths for gawd-knows-how-much-money, and her hair was just trashed. Really.

:)

Last week I saw Pam Anderson on the Howard Stern show and he asked her if she had extensions in, because her hair looked so good. She said yes, she had some clip in extensions on.
