I`ve read many posts here and on TLHS that people trim their split ends with little scissors. How often is it best to do that? Is weekly too often?

I hunt for splits once a week. I use really sharp scissors, only used for cutting hair and cut just above the split. Every 10 weeks I go to hairdresser and have my ends cut 1/2 an inch to keep the ends blunt. hth

i would pull my hair to the side, or flip it over my head. if your hair isnt` long enough for that, then have someone trim it for you.

remember to use very sharp scissors and trim approx .25 inches above the split at a 45 degree angle. this helps to prevent a resplit.
