In general, do you think lopping off the locks has helped or hindered most actresses and models?

THERE ARE ALOT OF EXAMPLES OF ACTRESSES THAT CHANGED THEIR COLOR OR LENGTH OF HAIR. LONI ANDERSON AND MARILYN MONROE,PAMELA LEE CHANGED THEIR COLOR FROM BRUNETTE TO BLOND AND BECAME A BIG STAR. DEMI MOORE AND JULIA ROBERTS CHANGES HER STYLE FOR EVERY ROLE AND HAVE ALSO BECOME BIG STARS. IT SHOWS THAT THEY ARE NOT CONFORMIST.

I think it will be Charlize Theron. In her latest hair colour advert she has long blonde hair, but I bet she is secretly planning to go short again. She is a short hair junkie, and won`t be able to resist the urges much longer.

Hey Jennifer!

As for who is next...could be anybody with long hair. Leelee, Michelle Trachtenberg, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Natascha McElhone....just to name a few who have great long hair (Julia Stiles already cut hers....NO!!!! :) ) As for what it does for their careers...I think that, in some cases, when a celebrity cuts her hair, it creates a splash and gets attention for a brief time (remember when Faith Hill cut her hair?), but more often than not, they return to the long hair as quickly as possible, sometimes with extensions, etc. I dunno if it actually has an impact on their careers, but it seems like most long-haired celebrities seem to prefer it long themselves, and a lot of the short-haired ones keep it that way, too.

I am pretty sure Jennifer Anniston has been quoted saying that she was definitely going to cut her hair after the final Friends episode is taped.

lisa kudrow from friends also said that she would cut it when the show was done.

I know one celeb who`s cut was definitely a bad move....Selma Blair. UGH! When she first did it in a pixie and wore lots of sexy clothes, it looked chic. But then she went for this mullet looking style and has been photographed alot wearing masculine clothing. It is not a good look for her.

Good example would be Mandy Moore.

She used to have the long, blonde hair and gradually darkened her hair to brunette, and then, finally, she cut her long locks off for a short, funky hairstyle.

She`s gorgeous with that brunette, funky hair. Her eyes stand out more.

Madonna recently sported a light reddish brown hair from her typical blonde hair. It seems that people are going darker those days, which can be a good thing!

I`d like to see more of redheaded celebrities, though. Or people willing to dye their hair red, like Blood Red or Pillarbox Red or something. =o) Nicole Kidman, Julianne Moore and Tori Amos are the only ones I know who sported red hair the longest. I think Tori Amos` red hair is very nice, a dark red.
