The Doritos Girl is the most beautiful girl in show business right now as far as I am concerned. I love her hair. Does anyone know her cut and if it would work on below the waist hair???

Any way to send a picture? I don't know this girl as i live overseas, but I'd like to see her hairstyle.

Thanks,
Holly

The "Doritos Girl" is former Miss Lousiana-USA and Miss USA, Ali Landry. You can find some pictures of her on the Doritos site here: http://www.doritos.com/gallery.html#>"http://www.doritos.com/gallery.html#"
or another Ali Landry site (where the picture came from) here: http://www.angelfire.com/ut/alilandry/>"http://www.angelfire.com/ut/alilandry/"

As for her cut, it's pretty simple. Ali was blessed with an abundance of very thick hair, so the fullness and volume are natural for the most part. Her hair is essentially blunt cut with some long layers throughout and additional layering in the front starting about about shoulder level and angling down.

Whether or not this will work for waistlength hair is a function of how thick your hair is and how thin you want it to look at the ends, since layering hair that long will make it look finer near the bottom. You could probably acheive the effect you wanted by going with the angled layering in the front, though you will probably end up with the back more rounded at the bottom than blunt since the angling will carry more into the sides due to the length. Make sense?

Hope that helps,
JerkyFlea

Happened to stumble across an interview with Ali in which she revealed that her stylist is Totts at Joseph Mortin in LA. So, any of you in the City of Angels that want Ali's exact 'do now have a place to go.

Later,
