I have just seen a brief segment of an interview with Celine Dion, and she has cut her hair. I think it is reminiscent of Meg Ryan's messey crop - but I think that it is even shorter - at the absolute maximum length I'd guess it as 2", it is also very highly higlighted.
I must admit (even as a Celine Dion Fan) that I think that it's the worst cut she has ever had!
I thought that she looked really great with long hair...oh well, never mind.

I disagree! I think that her new style is horrible! Totally unbecoming. Her long hair was magnificent and so sexy when she moved on stage. It's really to bad that she cut it.

I just saw it, definitly a thumbs down. It doesn't go with the shape of her face. Long hair was one of her best qualities beauty wise.

Naturally, I agree with all of the people who regret Celine's decision to hack up her hair. What a bite. Of course, she has decided to hang up touring for awhile, right? Maybe by the time she returns to stage, it will be back to its glorious state. What does "have potential" mean anyway when it comes to hair? Either she looks good in the hairdo or she doesn't. I know it's no surprise I feel this way, but I'm glad I'm not alone!

I believe Celine's real hair was only shoulder length... the nearly waistilength look was mostly extensions, anyway. But still.... I thought the Keri Russell haircut disaster had registered in the minds of thinking women. I guess I was wrong. :-(

What on EARTH was she thinking!?!

Because of her extreme thinness, she needs more hair. People who are either very thin or very stout should not wear extraordinarily short or long hair. It simply emphasizes their sizes.

I always thought her face was relatively attractive, but I honestly didn't realize how much of that was her hair. She looks okay in the face but it's more severe-looking.

Oh well, we live and learn!

It looks awful! I really liked her hair when it was red and short in her "Falling into you" days, though. So, maybe if Celine straightened it, let it grow a little and perhaps dyed it a reddish color like she had before it would look better.

Although I'm not keen on Celine's new haircut, as I'm a HUGE fan of long hair and I thought her old look was very sexy........ I don't think anyone has the right to say anything like, "We can only hope that she realizes the error of her choice"... if SHE likes it, then it's not an error, is it.

How true! Evidently in expressing my opinion, I may have gone a bit to far. I apologize to Celine for that statement for some people have expressed displeasure at the length of my hair, includine my wife, thinking it is too long, but I don't care. It's my hair and I'll have it as I like it. More power to Celine, even though I personally disagree with her choice.

I've seen 2 pictures of her with it and I've come to the conclusion she was either very bored and decided to play with a pair of scissors (or maybe a cuisineart ??) or she was on drugs or she was suffering temporary blindness (or insanity) when she decided to cut it. If she really wanted a change from the stick straight look she was wearing, she should've maybe dyed it dark again and then either gone for the layered bob she had in the video for 'It's all coming back to mw now' or the curly look from Beauty and the Beast . I think those were her best looks. If she really wanted to go short she could've returned to her look circa 'The colour of my love' and 'Falling into You'. Or else she could've gone for something similar to Jenna Elfman's old do or even Toni Braxton's original short cut.
