She look wonderful both ways. I didn't realize it was she who started the trend of supermodels cutting their hair.

She didn't start the trend. But, I agree. She looks great both ways. I am always a sucker for change, though. Thanks for the links.

"It brings lightness to her look," you say? Puh-lease. I hope the haircut didn't lighten her purseload too much. A hairstylist takes his scissors and cuts evenly above the shoulders. "If you like," he says, "feel free to curl occasionally." That's how you establish a trend? Give me a break. I could have cut her hair the same way and I have no experience whatsoever. What a waste!

Gord, what I tried to say is that IMO the long hair looked heavy for her and the short hair brings her a more proportionated look.

The trend I was refering is not about styling, but only about length. Even the Vogue editorial told about it, as you can see in the last picture I have linked.

I agree with you, Carmen's new do is a simple style and demanded no haircutting art, but I think it works for her.
