Gwyneth has certainly gone through an number of styles, long and short. But after looking at this timeline, I think you can`t argue that Gwyneth did look best with her super short pixie of 1997. Your thoughts?

the shorter the better but.... I usually love the pixie more than the bob... but in this case.... I love the bob....

On the timeline, I like the year 2000 bob, but overall her best look was in 1997 (the pic in the timeline wasn`t very good) with the short crop for the movie "Sliding Doors". If you have not seen this, rent it just for that.

Never thought she was a beauty (I know everyone else does) but she definately looks better with short hair. I think the bob might be a little better than the pixie but have to see more pics of each to be sure.

I thought the short hair like the pixie looked the best on her she looks like shit with long hair, and is not that pretty to begin with and the long hair hides her little bit of beauty she has. I hope she will wake up and cut her hair short again, we can thank Brad Pitt for her drastic change, he was the one who talked her into cutting her hair. Thank you Brad!

As someone who likes very long hair and very short hair, I have to say that Gwyneth is certainly better placed in the long hair camp. I hope she grows it to the length of her extensions at the infamous Oscar acceptance speech, but for an actress, that is probably unlikely.

I think the short hair looked good on her, but I do like the long hair better. I`m not sure I`d like her hair much longer than mid-back. Her hair might be a bit too fine to maintain that length well. Is there anyone besides me who preferred her as a brunette (as in "Sliding Doors" and "Bounce")?

As for her attractiveness, for me it is found in her expressiveness. She may not be a classic beauty (neither is Cameron Diaz) but there is something about her I find very appealing. In any case the idea that long hair "hides what little beauty she has" is ridiculous. Is her beauty located at the back of her neck?
