Just wanted to extend a laurel and hearty handshake to Marcia Gay Harden and her hairstyle on The Education of Max Bickford. In an era when, IMHO, most celebrity styles range from generally unflattering to completely baffling, Marcia has picked a great style - above the shoulders, full, loose curls - and stuck with it all season. I`ve been cringing in expectation that she`d eventually straighten it, but instead she appeared last night looking like she`d gotten a trim - to an even better style. A bit shorter, tighter curls, still poofy, and a side part with bangs lovingly swept high over the forehead, just the way we used to do it in the old days...
Couldn`t find a current picture (pic on CBS website is not flattering), but here`s a pic from 1998 of Marcia with a very cute short cut (or longish pixie I guess):
