A couple of things I noticed about the awards as a whole. And it goes without saying this is my only my thoughts.
1. As far as hair styles goes it was very boring. 2. It seems that a lot of hairstylsts are out of work because most of the stlyes looked like they did them at home. Which my be the intent. 3. I`m not saying that they were bad, I`m just saying that I did not catch any surprises.
It seems that because of recent events and the worlds problems, that the hairstyles are getting very conservative. In fact it seems like we are heading back to the 60`s Long, straight and not alot of style. It won`t be long out come the flowers and we will have hoogtnanny`s and be listening to Bob dylan.
She needs the boring look to play the boring girl in sex in the city. Unless the actors knock themselves out and radically alter her character, I think she`ll keep it until the show finishes, then change her look -- fast!
i agree that styles are now much more conservative. the wild, frivolous curls just don`t seem to fit with the serious mood of the country. thehippie look is already back! peasant blouses, ` fringe, flowery skirts - just way more $$$ than in the past!
