being able to freestyle is not really necessary most rappers in the game today who "freestyle" are actually spitting lyrics they wrote b4 but never released.....if u watch rap city the bassment half the freestyles were already on mixtapes b4.... up to about two weeks ago i couldnt freestyle for sh*t.....kept sayin the same thing over and over.. but i worked on it and now im decent.....i wouldnt say im great at it damn u know how many punchlines i came up with and never bothered to write down
only advise i can give..... not like its professional advice.... 1. figure out a style and flow u wanna use( u can copy a style if u want and try to develop your own as u go) 2. write some rhymes 3. read that sh*t over 4. if it dont sound good, trash it and start over till u got something good
