hey i was wondering what all you think is the most annoying length to have it as when your growing it out...mine has been at an annoying length for the last 8 months or so but now i think its the worst...its right below the ear but since its curly it curls to the top 1/4 of the ear with a lil` hanging in the middle and while i`m driving w/ the windows down all the sudden i get a brush of wind that blows the stray hairs directly into my ear...dang that tickles/hurts like mad. luckily i think i only have 3 more months of annoying length:) (btw it may seem short for how long i`ve been growing it out. but i`m growing with an undercut and i am just now starting to grow out the undercut my hair is actually about 11" hehe)

my hair is at a very annoying length. my bangs aren`t quite long enough to tuck behind my ears and the sides and back are too short to pull up :( can`t wait to get past this stage.

haha, me too :) but i`ll keep coming here and seeing longhairs and be motivated to NOT cut my mair, no matter how annoying it is to not be able to pull it up and no matter HOW ugly I look when it`s between my chin and shoulders :)

The most annoying length for me was when my bangs were right even with my nostrils. Made my nose so itchy that I nearly cut my bangs short again. They weren`t long enough to pull into a barrette, not even close to my ears, and they were still short enough to "do" like we did them back in the late 80s. I think the second most annoying length was when my hair reached my lower back. My hair wasn`t in the best condition, so I`d lose more strands than I cared for, and they used to get caught in my behind. Ever since that length, I`ve learned to arch my back so my hair doesn`t touch it when I`m washing it.
1"/37"/42"+ to see how long it will grow.
My hair is almost to my knees (~50") and continues to grow longer. Rather slowly these days, but that's ok - it's still *growing*.

the most annoying lengthis definately between your shoulders and chin. I can`t pull my hair back yet! I had long pretty hair,(to the middle of my back) Which took about two-three years to grow, and I cut it this fall. I hate it! I can`t wait for my hair to grow back. And it`s bugging me, having it this short!

Ug. So many of us in the same boat. Mine right now drives me crazy. I had this brave short cut (layery bob) and new color (went from a dark brown to red/copper) which looked great but was over $100 a month in upkeep. Unfortunately that was more than I could afford so the growing out process began. (of course I had the color prof. changed back to my natural shade) --- roots are so "trailer trash" to me no matter who you are --- *cough* Shakira *cough* (now don`t get all offended --- I lived in one myself 10 yrs ago)
So, right now the back is hitting the base of my neck and front layers are at cheekbone level. GRRR. I can`t do anything with it!

Seems like most of us agree that between chin and shoulder length is the most annoying length! Mine is just above my shoulders and I am just now able to get my hair back into a ponytail but it still drives me nuts! Grrrr. I`ve been longhaired all my life (longest was waistlength) and I am hating growing my hair out all over again! I`m never cutting it this short ever. :)

Its annoying at chin lenght where you cant pull it back and its annoying when its so long you can tuck it in your shorts and it still hangs out your shorts (make it look like your legs are really hairy up there) and it gets in your crack (you know what I mean) and it gets caught and pulled by everything unless you tie it up.
I also didnt like it when it was just a bit below shoulder lenght. When you lean over all your hair falls forward and gets in the way. When its longer you can "balance" your hair behind your back and it wont fall forward.

I think that no matter how long your hair is you''re going to think that it is the most annoying length ever. For instance, when mine was at shoulder i just wanted it to brastrap and i was annoyed because i couldn''t do anything with it. Now it''s at brastrap and I''m frustrated because i just want it longer and there are still updo''s that won''t work. I know when it gets longer you have updo''s you can''t do and you have updo''s you still can''t do because your hairs not long enough. Course, that''s just IMO.
