Help..... I "HAD"... quote "HAD" long hair......can anyone help or offer suggestions? I have been doing my own hair for over 20 years with "NEVER" a glitch..... boy when I had one I might as well tell you my hair literally melted..... I typically only get a perm maybe once every year to 18 months... ( it holds curl really well with scrunching) but as I got older & wanted to cover the gray,... I began dyeing.... then in the summer I would bleach ( Frost) blonde (looked great with a tan) & by the time the roots started showing... I would reverse frost with a brown... looked cool until 2 days ago when I rushed the process!!! Basically here is what I did:
I Re bleached ( frosted ) My hair....... same night I reverse frosted..... then ( I normally wait about 6 to 8 weeks) however I only waited a week & permed my hair... (Nightmare) But the color said wait only one week before perming.... then the perm said it was for color treated... & self timing... even said not to perform a test curl as it was safe ( Yea Right) however I can accept the fault..... problem is that my hair melted.... Now it is like shoulder length,,,, instead of mid-back.... I pulled it all an top of my head & put a rubber band around it & whacked it off.... I refuse to go any shorter... & I did get all the melted crap out... however there are still allot of dry fuzzy-like ends... (but not horrible) what can I do?????????? P.S. Any help would be "GREATLY " appreciated... also any "Fast" Hair Growing tips & treatments... preferably at home inexpensive treatments!

Heat up some olive oil in a bowl, apply to hair and put on a shower cap for an hour. Shampoo and condition as normal. Do this as often as you can be bothered.
Trust me, my hair was like KFC crispy strips and now it`s just dandy

If you cut your hair yourslef, your ends are probably uneven. I know you don`t want to go shorter, but you should have your ends evened off. It will help with the left over fuzz ends and it will make your hair easier to grow out. Get as much cut off as you can stand. Try Biolage Shampoo and cond. balm. It works wonders.

Since you want to do something at home, I have found that honey and olive oil make a wonderful conditioner. Mix 1/2 cup honey with 1/4 cup olive oil. Warm the mixture (but not too hot), dip your fingers into it, and rub it into the strands of hair. Soak a towel in hot water, wring out completely, and wrap around your head for twenty minutes. Then shampoo as usual with warm water, lathering well to remove the olive oil. I find this works best if the towel is damp but some people have told me they covered their hair with a shower cap, warmed the towel in a clothes dryer, put it on for 30 minutes, and it worked too. Hope it works for you too.

Go to www.longhairlovers.com, they have great suggestions on how to grow your hair healthy and faster. Thanks to that site my hair is now 29 inches long and healthy. Give them a try.
