Hi! For my birthday, I had my hair highlighted...for a lot of money at the local hairdressers.
Merrily, I chose my colours and waited as they were applied. However, long before the anticipated development time, my hair began to heat up to quickly and to avoid damage, they had to be removed.
Having aimed for bright, platinum blonde hightlights, I now have limp, unnatural yellow streaks that really don`t match my complexion...and in two days I am going to a concert and desperately want to look nice....
Short of spending any more money (we could barely afford the original colour attack!) is there anything I can do?!
Well you don`t want to spend money so that leaves out going to a better hairdresser to fix your hair or buying a wig, and if you try to fix it yourself you will probably make it worse, so you can either shave your head and go with the bald look, or wear a headscarve, or both! Anyone got a better idea?

Hey! Johan (above) has a good idea...a bandana or scarf over your hair might be good- I wear them a lot when I`m having a bad hair day (far too often). Shaving your head might be a bit extreme (sorry, Johan:) )!!!! Or, altho it`ll cost a little bit of money, you could pick up a temporary wash-in type haircolor. They usually only cost a couple dollars and won`t damage your hair- I don`t know if they`ll turn out the way you want tho :( MAybe a scarf or a hat would be a better idea, or just go with what you have & try to find a way to style it that`ll either hide the highlights or make the most of them. Good luck to ya! Love, Ingrid
If I had wings then I could take you in I'd stay on the ground and show you some things The grass is strewn with blades of gold all sights and sounds I have been told all hopes, desires, seem to sing
