Well- Couldn't find a salon open on sunday. So I got my usual medium brown hair color kit and decided to go over the highlighted problem areas myself. So I applied the color to a comb and combing it through the spots and the strip that I had received from the night before. I let it sit for a while and decided to comb the brown color thru other portions of my hair for a short amount of time before washing it out.
I must of got lucky (being my B-day and all) I was lucky the color not only toned the highlight "opps" down to where you couldn't see it but it gave my hair multi-levels of highlighting color. In fact, I have had several compliments at work on the color of my hair. Even now, I don't think I will ever use a cap again and with all the effort invalved with trying to color long hair--- even though it came out good in the end, I think I will let a professional handle it next time.
