I am a guy with short fine hair. I am thinking about letting it grow and getting a perm. What can I do to add fullness while letting it grow and how long do I need to let it grow before perming?

Hi wants curls, Do you know what type of style you ultimately want? That would make a difference. If you just want curls to make your hair look fuller, 3-4 inches would probably be enough. If you want a longer style you could get a body wave while it is growing. I had a spiral perm for my ultralong hair, but that takes a few years to get that long. If you consult a good stylist, he or she will be able to give you a better idea.
