My husband wants to get a perm. He loves curls. He doesn't like male perm styles and wants to go with a more feminine look. Any ideas? I like curly hair as well.
There does not seem to be much out there,But with more men pushing for it maybe a perm company will try and enter the market. When was the last time you saw a man on a perm box

My husband also likes curls and I do to. He keeps his hair short (about 3 inches on top- sides short- and back longer to right below the collar. He gets a grey rod size and the curl is more of a relaxed look. You don't mention how long your husbands hair is which would make a difference in the size rods to use for a natural curl look. If his hair is fine and limp then you would want to use a smaller rod size. If his hair is long and medium to coarse and in good condition then go for a larger rod size. The cut will make or break the look though. The stylist should be told he likes a softer look when she cuts him. Forest
Hi Curly Talk, If he wants a more feminine style why don't you look at Hairdos.com. Find a pretty style and go for it! I have very long curly hair that I love. It is naturally wavy, mid back length. I had a spiral perm this spring and I love it. I can wear it in a pony tail and look somewhat masculine, or I can put a leave in conditioner in and let it air dry and look very feminine. I am amazed at how many women tell me how nice my hair looks when it looks very feminine. Please let us know what you decide to do.
