Hi,I have always had thick, wavy hair, I never used any extra products to maintain it, but within the past year, my hair has gotten very course, dry and very curly. I have been conditioning like crazy and nothing helps. I don't know what to do with my hair since it has changed or why and I am asking anyone for advice. Thanks, Alexandra

Hey xandrab, have you tried the frizz ease miraculous recovery deep conditioner? i know results may vary but this is only my 2nd week and my hair has never been this soft! its great and i usually go under the dryer for a half hour for it to penetrate deeper. on my birthday, i wet my hair put a LITTLE bit of conditioner in it, and then put Queen Helene`s styling Gel all over, gently squeesed out excess water and for the first time, there was no frizz, or stiffness! i was soo happy! (and plus a couple of peoples` head turned, including my crushes`!) it was great! GOOD LUCK!

It depends on what you want to achieve!

Firstly, you`ve got to get the junk off your hair.

Vinegar rinse with a cup of half water, half white vinegar.

Next, do not use silicone products, like pantene etc. PLEASE.

Try a texturizing treatment, use Rusk Anti-curl #1.

WALLA, problem solved.

xandrab,

I have heard of some pretty crazy things changing hair texture. Climate changes, product changes, coloring, hormones, water quality, any one of these things can have an effect on your hair.

My hair had never been healthier than when I used a leave in product called "Right On Curl Activator/Moisturizer." All it took was about a quarter size dollop and you rub that through your hair when it`s wet, and style as usual (preferably no brushing...that too can cause dry, brittle hair).

Best of luck! It`s a challenge, but if we weren`t able to handle it, we wouldn`t have been made curly heads!
