ok this is really nasty but ever since i`ve gotten a perm, i`ve had this really bad case of dandruff!! now i have thin hair thats like to my shoulders i don`t know if that has anything to do with it. do you think its possible that this could be from the chemicals, or product build up(i use mousse and hair spray). Somebody help! i use herbal essences anti dandruff shampoo and i was previously using head and shoulders! nothing works!! i also heard this could be caused by excessive sweating and i play basketball atleast 2 hours a day plus i work out all the time! So? does anybody else have this problem? its nasty and i hate it! but i love the perm and i get numerous compliments for it! AHHHHHHHHH

when i got a perm, i had super bad dandruff... i mean i had a whole freaking blizzard in my head. i think it`s from the chemicals from the perm. anyway, try denorex (i think that`s what it`s called) it`s a dandruff shampoo and it works really good!

The chemicals are really drying in perms so you probably should try extra moisturizing products and dandruff products. Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo is really good for dandruff.

If your dandruff doesn`t seem to go away with everyone`s else advice on products maybe you should consider seeing a doctor because it might be a chemical inbalance in your own body or your diet that is causing this.
