What color goes best with purple or brown eyes?

Hey everybody!!

I`m a Filipino with very long and curly hair. If you`re not familiar with this culture, then you should know that Filipinos are born with either straight or wavy hair and curly hair is very, very RARE!!!
Ever since I was young, every person I`ve ever met has complimented my kinky hair.
Some people even think I`m half-black!! And so, because of this, I`ve learned to treasure my hair and love it.
Anyways, my question is, what hair color would compliment my violet and/or hazel eyes?
I`ve recently switched to contacts and I`m thinking of changing my hair color.
Would streaking my hair dark blonde be a good idea? If not, what about dark red?
P.S. I have medium skin and my natural hair color is black.
