Help, I think I fried my hair today! My trusty Philips SensorCare hair dryer went on the blink and I had to use a regular 1875 watt hair dryer. (EEk!) The Philips hair-dryer was only 1600 so it didn`t fry my hair out. Now my hair is frizzy, extremely dry, and tangled. How can I get it to be healthy again?

Ok, this is what I would do...

Get a really good conditioner (putty-like)- Biolage sells some really good stuff, but it`s expensive. Also Pantene sells some at a better price.

Put some DEEP CONDITIONER all over your hair when it`s damp, leave it in for a half hour or 20 minutes, then rinse it out. Only do this twice or once a week-- and I bet it will really help.

I read in a mag once that good conditioner needs 20 min. to do its stuff.

Good luck, hon!

I know just how you feel!!! I sugggest that you try Aveda Deep Revitalising Conditioner and leave it on for about 1 hour and wrap your head in a warm towel. I use this and it`s great! Once a week should be OK. Good luck!

If you want a better and easier hairsyle for wavy hair get long layers. That way you don`t have to dry your hair to look pretty, your hair can be naturaly wavy and look cool. Long layers gives that natural look without styling it the way you want.

hehe this is what i usually do (although quite nasty) put in mineral oil or something like that in your hair and leave it in for about 24 hours, then wash it out w/ your usual stuff and make sure you put it in again:) about 5 days ago i dyed my hair and then 2 days later i dyed it again and left the dye in for longer then 1.5 hours, and it was ultra fryed i have been doing this since, and it is almost completly healed already:)

If you like your hair in braids put in the oil then braid it and leave it in for about 4 days it works excellent. only prob is that it can strip hair dye.
