I need advice on a straightener that really works & does not damage hair too badly. Also, has anyone ever rolled their hair on huge rollers with using the staightener? I did this as a young teenager & my hair was straight for a whole year, but I cannot remember the brand of straightener I used; however, I do think it was for African-American hair & I am caucasian.

Hi, I just read your post. You said that when you were a young teen, you put huge rollers in your hair and it made it straight for a year? I`m 16 years old and I have curly/wavy hair, and I want it straight SO bad! I hate straightening my hair with a blow drier and stuff. Can you tell me more about how you were about to get your hair straight for a year? My email address is qtfairy@hotmail.com. Thanks so much.

Yes, you can straighten your curly hair so that it is smooth, silky, shiny and above all HEALTHY. Check out this website: www.yukosystem.com

This process/service is very expensive, but could be well worth it. I`ve got thick, coarse, natuarlly curly hair - and I`ve scheduled an appointment to get my hair straightend using the Yuko system.
