I'll let it grow for like 2 months but I'm making sure to keep brushing to keep it soft. My hair soft right now but if I stop brushing, I know it'll get all nappy. Plus I switched from stocking cap to durag so my hair can be pressed down and not messed up when I take it off like the stocking cap. I found a way to stop the durag from forming lines on my forehead too.

jus some advice, when i dont want lines on my head i dont wrap the straps around twice. i jus pull em back tight as i can then tie it like im tyin my shie
