Do you brush curly hair?

Hi, i am a male with curly hair and i`m letting it grow up to my chin, of course it will take 1 more year i think, however my hair is very dry, specially after i wake up. my mom says i should brush my hair after the shower so it will make it more manageable for next day.
the problem is that my hair is very dry and it becomes kind of frizzy speacilly when i brush it again in the morning. so the question is, do you actually brush curly hair?, think of me my hair is 3 inches long and its really unruly in the morning, how should i brush it or whatever?, what to use?

i have curly hair, and i find if you brush it, it just becomes frizzy. When i get out of the shower, i just use a wide toother comb, and that seems to do a good job.

Hello, Ive got a great tip for you! When you wet your hair try not to brush it our because when it dryes up it becomes very frizzy, so try to comb it out with a wide tooth comb. Good Luck
