Can anyone tell me how to straigten my hair so it doesnt ruin it or damnage it? When i straigten my hair it takes about 3 hours...can someone give me advice please?

I used to have very curly hair until i hade it staightened and it did not damage my hair when i
had it done my hair was in better shape after it is amazing its called thermo staightner and its pretty
new and its not cheap to have my hair done it was
800.00 it lasts for a about 6 mo until it grows and it is worth it
