I don't understand why but my hair is really curly on the sides and underneath near my neck and the rest of my hair is slightly wavy. I think that this is fairly common. Does anyone know why this happens?

i dont know why this happens but i have the same thing sort of. my hair is reallly curly all around except for the bottom layer of my hair. the bottom layer of my hair is perfectly straight. what is up with that??
