Alright, I have EXTREMELY curly/coily hair, and it's downright sickening. I've tried blow-drying it, using Xenna's Curl-Away, using a flat iron, virtually everything..it just won't get straight enough for me to gel it up for good spikes.

I need some suggestions. I refuse to relax it, as it damages the hair..I want healthy hair..

Lol, I don't know what else can you do except relaxing then....I think that if your hair is healthy now, even though relaxing will damage it, the damage will be little and it'll be nothing a couple of deep conditioning treatments won't resolve.

Also my friend discovered this new product, it's called Culture 7 Day relaxer, doesn't damage your hair and it works untill you shampoo again. Also it's pretty cheap,so maybe you should try it.
