Hi, I'm Xara the Hermit(smile & wave)

I recently started to wear my hair in 2 strand twists. I would like to add beads to my hair. How do you put them on the twisted hair? Do you need something like a yarn needle? I cannot get any instructions on hair beading. If I can learn to do this, when my twists loc, I can put beads on my locs. Thank you for your help.

Threading them onis the most easy way. You could use yarn, or have a partner do it with nylon thread that won't break. What will you use to decorate your locs? Cowrie shells look real tribal I think.
