new perm to curly procedure

recently I watched Oh Drama where a professional hair stylist talked of a procedure that is basically relaxing the hair chemically but before rinsing out with neutralizing shampoo, the stylist adds protein to the hair, thus changing the hair back to its original curly state. I am very interested in this, and would like to know if anyone knows more about it, for example the true name of this procedure and who I might be able to get more info from. Thanks for your time.
