hi, i was reADING THIS MAGAZINE about microbraids and i really wanted to have it done . My hair comesto my shoulders and someone said i would have to cut my hair real short. my hair is relaxed and is due to be retouched. it`s been 8 weeks since the last one.My question is how lond do they last? Do they cause breakage? what different types are the best? and does anyone know any good hairstylist near D.C?

they can last up to three months if you get it touched up around the edges. the only way they will cause breakag is if they a taken out uncorrectly or they have knots in them at the beginning of the braid , find someone who knows how to feed hair in to do it and it should come out great....good luck

I think brandy`s hair is pretty, but she has had hers in too long. That`s all her hair is use to.
I think if she tries to take her braids out for another hairstyle besides braids, it might just fall out.
