I am desperately seeking a hair salon in my area. The person who normally does my hair is on maternity leave and I have no clue when she will be back. I live in Northern Jersey but I am only a half hour away from NYC. Can anyone give the name of a reliable salon. I have short relaxed hair but I want it to grow longer. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hi Tyeshia,

I live in north Jersey too, in Orange. Have you ever heard of Maxi Unisex? There located in Newark, E.O., Elizabeth and NYC. It`s well know for the doobie style.

I cut my hair in `99 and grew it back by getting doobies all the time. The only thing I hate about going there is theres always a long waiting line, but its worth it!
