Braids do not pull your hair out! It it how you remove the braids that may pull your hair out. You cannot be rough. Yes, you will see a lot of hair that you think is coming out after you take down braids. Don`t be scared, just think of it this way. YOu lose about 70 hairs a day. If you have a style that you have braids that you have kept from two weeks to two months, your hair had no where to fall. Do the math, so of course you see a lot of it when you take them down.
If you leave your braids in too long, it will thin it out because your hair needs stimulation from brushing and combing to stay thick, and when it`s in braids it`s doesn`t get that kind of stimulation. But I have a way you can get the look of microbraids without the hassle. Get the kind of tracks that are already braided. You only have to put a couple braids in the front to make them look like they took hours. You can take them out easier and more often, and your hair will really grow out.
